Hackel, Judy (20 MAR 1971)
St. Thomas Church in Milan (Marathon Co., Wis.) was the setting as Miss Judy
Hackel of Abbotsford became the bride of Daniel A. Maroldy of Yonkers, New York
The March 20, 1971 ceremony was performed at noon by Rev. Charles P. Schumacher.
Parents of the couple are Raymond Hackel of route 1, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Freda
Maroldy of Yonkers, New York.
Judy was attired in a lustrous satin gown with scoop neckline, long pointed
sleeves, empire bodice with A-line skirt, lace appliques on bodice, skirt and
sleeves with pearl trim. She carried a cascade bouquet of roses and carnations.
Attending her sister as maid of honor was Miss Wendy Hackel of Abbotsford. Mrs.
Howard Hackel of Abbotsford was the bridesmaid. They wore moss green velvet
gowns with high necklines, empire bodice, bishop sleeves and softly gathered
skirts.
Robert Maroldy, Monroe, Connecticut, served as best man, and Howard Hackel of
Abbotsford was groomsman.
A reception at the Trianon Ballroom followed the ceremony.
The new Mrs. Maroldy is a 1968 graduate of Abbotsford High School. Her husband
graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966.
Following a wedding trip to New York, Mr. and Mrs. Marold will be making their
first home in Yonkers, New York.
