Plecity, Rudolph (1875 - 15 MAR 1935)

Rudolph Plecity, for many years an honored resident of this vicinity, died of heart trouble at the General Hospital in Madison where he had been a patient for several weeks, on Friday, March 15, 1935. He was born in Bohemia in 1875 and had reached the age of sixty years. Deceased had been a resident of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis. since 1913, with the exception of eight years spent on a farm in North Dakota. On Nov. 29, 1905, he was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Nettleton, who passed away several years ago.

Deceased leaves to mourn, three daughters, Dorothy, Catherine, and Mrs. Wm. Micke of Thorp; one brother, Frank Plecity of Gilman; also three sisters, Mrs. Henry Klauck of Withee, Mrs. Barbara Velcheck of Thorp, and Mrs. Martin Dvorak of Stanley.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church on Monday morning, Revs. A.M. Muckerheide and Victory Plecity officiating, interment following the services in the Thorp Catholic Cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Carl Baldeschwiler, Anton VanLoo, August Dulek, Anton Micke, Louis hence, and Wm. Oberle.
