William Pagel, a resident of the town of Reseburg, Clark Co., Wis. died of Ostio Mylitis on Monday, March 18th, 1935, at the General Hospital, Madison, where he has been a patient for several months. He was born in the town of Reseburg on Sept. 16, 1880 and had reached the age of 44 years and 6 months.
He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his wife, Hattie M. Pagel; four children, Beth, James, Pearl, Billy, also Rena, a daughter by a former marriage; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Pagel of Thorp, one sister, Mary of Mendota, and three brothers, Louis of Thorp, August of Fond du Lac, and Paul of Milwaukee.
Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church on Wednesday morning, Rev. A.M. Muckerheide officiating, interment following the services in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Ben Broeren, Ted Broeren, Frank Broeren, Elmer Broeren, Robert Broeren and Henry Broeren.
