Siegienski, Simon (1852 - 11 AUG 1935)
Simon Siegienski, aged 83 years, died at his farm home in the town of Worden, Clark Co., Wis., on Sunday, August 11, 1935, of old age infirmities.
Deceased was born in Weczolki, Poland in 1852. In 1890 he was united in marriage to Alexandria Bielecki, at Koszoly, Poland. He came to America in March of 1891, locating for a time in Pennsylvania, but three months later, coming to Thorp, which has since been his home. Those of the family who survive are: his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Peter Trybowski and Mrs. Alex Poszukiewicz of Thorp, and Mrs. George Sydejko of Chippewa Falls; four sons, John and Garfied of Thorp, Rev. Joseph of St. Paul and Rev. Stanley of Grant, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church last Wednesday morning, Rev. Stanley J. Siegienski of Grant, Neb., officiating, with Jos. F. Siegienski as Deacon, Rev. Andrew Hondzel of Appleton, Minn., Sub-Deacon, and Rev. F.A. Kulig, Master of Ceremonies. Other priests in Sanctuary were Rev. P. Szymanski of Minneapolis, Rev. Rapala of Lublin, Rev. Slisz of Czestochwa, and Rev. Kolman of Gilman. Interment was made in the parish cemetery.
