Meyer, Milton H. (1900? - 5 Jan. 1981)

Thorp - Former area resident Milton H. Meyer, 81, a resident of Zastrow Nursing Home, died Monday evening in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.

After living in this area and the Jim Falls area, he operated a car mechanic and blacksmith business in the Crescent area.

Surviving are four sons, Delvin and Keith; both of Cadott, Terrance of Madison, and Rodney, address unknown; two daughters, Jeanne Davis of Modesto, Calif.; and Dawn Muska of Cadott; two sisters, Aurora Kempf of Bear Creek and Margaret Schmidt of New London; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His wife, Marion, is deceased.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, with burial in spring at Pine Grove Cemetery, town of Arthur. Friends may call from 2 - 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
