Svendsen, Elsie (24 June 1908 - 24 Jan. 1986)
Abbotsford - A former Abbotsford resident, Mrs. George (Elsie) Svendsen, 78, of Wabasha, Minn., died Jan. 24 at a Minnesota Hospital.
Services were Jan. 27 at Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha. Burial was in Wabasha Cemetery.
The former Elsie Denzin was born June 24, 1908 in the town of Holton.
Her first marriage was to Henry Venzke July 27, 1927. He died in Nov. 1972. She later married George Svendsen. He died in 1977.
Surviving are four children, Fred Venzke, Tomahawk, Thomas and Marvin Venzke, both of Athens, and Louella, Rochester and eight grandchildren.
