Klapatauskus, Charlotte (12 JUN 1934)
A pretty wedding was held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church Tuesday, June 12, 1934, at 8 o’clock, when Miss Charlotte Klapatauskus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Klapatauskus, became the bride of Michael Gregorich, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gregorich of Willard, Rev. Kulig performing the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a white satin and lace ankle length gown and carried a bouquet of white peonies. Her veil was of silk tulle. Miss Mary Klapatauskus acted as bridesmaid. She wore a gown of pink celanese taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink and red peonies. Edward Gregorich, brother of the groom, was best man. Both groom and best man wore navy blue suits.
A six o’clock dinner was served at the bride’s home. Covers were laid for about one hundred and fifty guests, which was followed by a dance in the evening.
They left on a honeymoon to Minnesota immediately after the wedding.
The young couple will be at home to their many friends and neighbors at the groom’s farm in the town of Mead after June 18th.
