Anders, Patsy (Alf) (22 NOV 1940 - 30 MAY 2019)
On Friday, May 24, 2019, Patsy (Alf) Anders, 75 years old, passed away
peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
A celebration of life service will be held on 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, with
visitation from 10-11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Sheldon.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Patsy are her parents, Leo and Evelyn Alf;
sister, Mary King and her husband, Gerald Anders.
Patsy was born April 1, 1944, in Ladysmith, raised in Arnold, and attended
Holcombe schools. She married the love of her life Gerald “Jerry” Anders in
1962, together her and "GBA" lived in Milwaukee, then moved to Sheldon where she
was busy as a homemaker raising eight children.
She was involved with PTA, helped orchestrate many church luncheons, and was an
active member of Marshall Homemakers Club. Renowned for her cooking, baking and
crafting skills, she took extreme pride in making and sharing her famous caramel
rolls and homemade buns. Creating exquisite greeting cards, beautiful floral
arrangements, and wedding flowers showed her true talents.
Patsy had a knack for matching anything perfectly and could skillfully name just
about any kind of bird.
A get together at the Anders house was always sure to be a good time. She made
entertaining appear effortless and always had coffee ready for visitors.
Loved ones that will miss Patsy include her eight children, Angela Brost, Edward
(Donna) Anders, Kelli (James) Moore, Theodore (Jennifer) Anders, Carrie Anders,
Gerald (Lacy Warne) Anders Jr., Melanie (Jay) Geist and Paul (Heather) Anders
and 18 grandchildren, Derek (Kisja) Brost, Chad Brost, Monte Brost, Lindsey
(Scott Heffernon) Brost, Sara (Ryan Bares) Anders, Melanie Moore, Jesse Anders,
Courtney (Andrew Sonnentag) Anders, Dalton Anders, April (James) Bomber, Kayla
Anders, Nicolette Anders, Mason Anders, Alyssa (Jordan) Becker, Blake Brown,

five great grandchildren, Camden and Chelsea Brost, and Lydia, Chloe, and Brooke
Bomber; special sister-in-law, Kathy Dixon; special friends, Karen & Roger
Geirke, and June Nitek. She is further survived by her neighbors, Keith &
Shirley Baughman. She also had countless family and friends not mentioned that
she appreciated and that meant so much to her.
We will always carry her memory in our hearts and anytime we see a butterfly we
will think of Mom and smile.
