The wedding of Juanita Hermiown Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey I. Myers of Stanley, to Charles W. Schmidt of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., took place Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Stanley, Wis., Rev. Geo. W. Vaughn read the wedding service.

Miss Zella Ann Myers, cousin of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly" by Carrrie Jacob Bond, preceding the ceremony and "Because" by Guy d’Harelot during the ceremony with Mrs. Geo. W. Vaughn at the organ.

The marriage vows were exchanged before an altar banked with evergreen trees, ivory candelabra and large baskets of snapdragons.

The ushers, Kenneth E. Lindquist of Thorp, Wis., and Joseph C. Parker of Minneapolis, Minn., entered first. Next came the bridesmaid, Miss Evelyn schunk, who wore a pale green net over green taffeta and a bandeaux of green taffeta rosebuds. She carried a bouquet of Joanna Hill roses and white sweet peas.

Miss Lilas Aslakson, maid of honor, wore a gown of baby blue satin with touches of pink and a bandeaux of blue satin rosebuds. She carried a bouquet of Brier Cliff roses and white sweet peas.

The bride entered with her father who gave her in marriage. She wore a gown of white satin trimmed with lace and pearl stamens, and made with a court train and tulle veil. The veil was caught at the anp of the neck by a bandeaux of white satin rosebuds. She carried a bouquet of Calla Lilies. George F. Schmidt of Thorp, Wis., was best man.

Following the ceremony a 6 o’clock wedding dinner was served to twenty five at the home of the bride’s parents.

They will reside at Thorp, Wis., where the groom is assistant postmaster.

The bride is a graduate of the Stanley High School and Teachers Training Dept. and for the past five and a half years has been a teacher in Chippewa Co. The groom is a graduate of Thorp High School and Wausau Business College.

The out of town guests were: Miss Zella Ann Myers, St. Paul, Minn., Joseph C. Parker, Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Beller, daughter Gladys, Geo. Schmidt, Mrs. Amelia Buss, Kenneth Lindquist, Rev. and Mrs. F. Sprengler, all of Thorp, Wis.
