Pabich, Frances (22 OCT 1935)
A very pretty double wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at nine o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1935, when Miss Sophia Pabich became the bride of Walter Marek and Miss Frances Pabich, the bride of Mr. Leo Marek, Rev. F.A. Kulig performing the ceremony. The ladies are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Pabich, the gentlemen sons of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Marek. They were attended by Mr. John Marek and Miss Monica Pabich, and Mr. Edward Kobylinski and Miss Evelyn Pabich. The brides wore gowns of white transparent velvet with cap style tulle veil with blusher, and carried bouquets of white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids wore gowns of Nile green crepe with Arcadia green velvet jackets and turbans. Their bouquets were of pink and yellow tea roses. The grooms’ suits were the conventional blue. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the brides’ parents. Their many friends join in wishing them the best of luck through life.
Among the out of town guests who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pawlak, Mrs. Charles Bielsi and daughter Catherine, Mrs. C. Francis and son Edward, Miss Josephine Francis, R.N., Roxy Marek, Rose Marke, R.N., all of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. M. Kiodnoski, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Stipka, Mrs. W. Buszkewicz, all of Proctor, Minn.
