OWEN-Norman Alvin Bakke, 87 Owen, died Nov 2, 1998 at St Joseph's hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Withee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Maurina Funeral Home Owen, Wis.

He was born Aug. 24, 1911 in rural Curtiss and was a retired U.S. Steel worker in Waukegan, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny Bakke; two stepsons James(Gloria) Alanko of Pleasanton ,Calif and Jerome (Sandra) Alanko of Purcellville, VA;.four grandchildren and his brother Arnold Bakke of Abbotsford, Wis.
