Oldham, Joseph (July 12, 1869 - December 15, 1947)

Joseph Oldham died at the age of 78, at Clarkston, Washington, on December 15, 1947. He was the husband of Myra (King) Oldham, daughter of Mrs. R.W. King. Mrs. Oldham survives him. Their marriage took place at Neillsville, December 27, 1893.

Following their marriage they engaged in farming, with carpentry as a sideline and moved to Centralia, Washington, in 1907. Later they moved to a ranch at Cottonwood, Idaho and farmed there until going to Clarkston, Washington in 1926. In his later years he was a contractor and builder.

Mr. Oldham was born at Racine, Wisconsin, July 12, 1869, to Aaron and Sarah (Hardman) Oldham. He became an Odd Fellow at the age of 21 and recently received his 50-year pin.

Surviving him besides his wife, are three daughters, Mrs. Lois (A.A.) Harrison, Mrs. Hilda (Merl E) Hegel, both of Clarkston, Washington and Mrs. Rozilla (George) Reed, Kooskia, Idaho; and by two brothers, Charles Oldham, Centralia, Washington, and Alfred of Curtis, Wisconsin. Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, also survive.
