Terry Recore, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford J. Recore, live on Route 2, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), was recently promoted to Army Private First Class while serving in the 1st Armored Division Artillery at Ft. Hood, Texas.

PFC Recore is assigned as a supply clerk in the division artillery's headquarters batter. He entered the Army in Apr 1970, and was stationed at Ft. Lee, Virginia.

The 20-year-old private attended Colby High School.
