Dins, Edna (16 JAN 1905 – 03 MAY 1971)
Funeral services were ehld at 1:30 p.m. today at Lulloff Funeral Home, and at 2
p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Albert (Edna) Dins, 66, Colby (Clark Co.,
Wis.), who died in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, early Monday.
Rev. David Pankow conducted the last rites and burial was in Colby Memorial
Cemetery.
She was born in the Town of Colby (Clark Co.) January 16, 1905, the daughter of
Ernest and Cecelia Mandel, and was married to Albert Dins June 27, 1928, at Zion
Lutheran Church, Colby.
The couple lived in Colby after marriage, where her husband operated a feed
store.
Mrs. Dins was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran Sewing Club, which
she served as president, American Legion Auxiliary, an officer of the Blue Sky
Garden Club, and was active in school-parent organizations, the AFS and annual
fund raising drives.
Surviving are two sons, Allen and Paul, of Colby, and a daughter, Rita Rae of
Stevens Point, two brothers, Alber Mandel of Marshfield and Harry Mandel of
Unity.
The family request that memorials be made to the Zion carpet and pew fund.
