Pfrimmer, Lydia (1855 - SEP 1932)
THORP, Clark Co., Wis. - The remains of Mrs. Lydia Pfrimmer, former Thorp and Stanley resident, was brought to Stanley from Madison Wednesday for burial beside the body of her husband, Ludwig Pfrimmer, who died a few years ago.
The family lived, first at Thorp and then at Stanley, for many years. Mrs. Pfrimmer recently went to Madison to make her home with a daughter, Mrs. A.M. Hanson. She had been in failing health for some time, and died at a Madison hospital last Sunday.
She was born in Germany in 1855 and came to Ontario, Canada with her parents at the age of five. She was married to Mr. Pfrimmer there and they later came to Clark County to live.
Four children, Mrs. Anton Steinhauser, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Merten Mather, and Mrs. A.M. Hanson, Madison; and Mrs. Charles Kriper, Canada, survive.
Funeral services were conducted at Madison Tuesday and at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Stanley on Wednesday, the rev. F.A. Fahlgren officiating.
