Lezotte, Grace B. (4 April 1889 – 5 June 1975)

Funeral services were held Monday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church for a Town of Grant native, Miss Grace B. Lezotte of Memorial Home, who died June 5 at the age of 86. The Rev. Michael Mertens of Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, officiated, and interment followed in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery. The Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, where the body of Miss Lezotte was in state.

The daughter of Anthony and Lidia (Shoop) Lezotte, she was born April 4, 1889, in the Town of Grant and was educated in local schools. As a young woman, she did housework in the area, then moved to Neenah and to Manitowoc where she worked for many years. Miss Lezotte returned to Neillsville in 1966 and resided at Memorial Home for her remaining years.

Survivors include two brothers, Glenn Lezotte of Loyal and Ed Lezotte of Neillsville.

Lezotte, Grace B. (4 April 1889 - 5 June 1975)

Funeral services were held June 9 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church for Miss Grace G. Lezotte, 86, of Neillsville, who died June 5. Fr. Schuh officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Glenn Lezotte, Jr., Wilber Lezotte, Alvin Lezotte, Virgil Lezotte, LeRoy Lezotte and Douglas Lezotte.

Mrs. Glenn Short accompanied the choir.
