Gaetz, Myrtle (8 JAN 1910 – 07 MAY 1971)
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church,
Riplinger (Clark Co., Wis.), for Mrs. William (Myrtle) Gaetz, 61, who died
Friday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Rev. David Ault conducted the service, with burial in Riplinger (St. John's)
Cemetery.
Mrs. Gaetz was born Myrtle Brown on January 8, 1910, in the Town of Hull
(Marathon Co., Wis.).
Shew as married to William Gaetz June 20, 1932, at the Presbyterian Church in
Abbotsford, and was graduated from Abbotsford schools.
The couple farmed after marriage on a farm about a mile west of Riplinger until
retirement about five years ago, when they moved into Riplinger.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Ralph, Spencer, and David, Riplinger; four
daughters, Mrs. Darnell (Janice) Schoelzel, Colby, Mrs. Dennis (Carol) Kuehling
of Unity, Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Hausman, Spencer, and Mrs. Kenneth (Joanne) Laper,
Unity; 22 grandchildren; a brother, Richard Brown of Abbotsford, and her mother,
Mrs. Gladys Brown, Abbotsford.
