Pinney, Harriet E. (27 OCT 1908 - 18 NOV 1910)
The friends of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Pinney are sympathizing with them in the sudden death of Harriet Ethel, their youngest child, who died on Friday morning, Nov. 18th, 1910, aged 2 years and 21 days, at the family residence. Little Harriet was in her usual health until two days before she died, she being stricken with pneumonia, which resided the most strenuous efforts of the physician and loving care of the mother.
Only the memory of the lovely child is left, yet how sweet, how uplifting its influence. For, after all, death is but the slipping off of the outer body.
The funeral service was held at the residence on Sunday afternoon, Rev. H. Bastow officiating. The burial was in Colby Cemetery.
