Died, at her home in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., Sunday morning, Nov. 27th, 1910, Elizabeth Fricke, wife of Erhard Fricke, aged 67 years, 3 months and 4 days.
Elizabeth Arhilgers was born in Germany, Aug. 24th, 1843. In 1869 she was married to John Rein, and came to this country the same year. To this union there were three children born, Mrs. John LaPage, Minneapolis, George Rein, Schofield, and Henry Rein, Wausau. The date of her husband’s death is not known to the writer. She was united in marriage on Dec. 5th, 1874, to Erhard Fricke, and thirty-two years ago they came to Colby, settling on the farm where she died. To this union were born six children, Adolph, Fred, Edward, Mrs. Harry Demand, town of Hull, Mrs. George Lietl, Marathon, and Mrs. Heber Warner, Saynor. All of her children were present at the funeral except Mrs. Lietl.
Besides her husband and children, she leaves one sister, Mrs. Adam Kramer, town of Frankfort, one brother in Germany, and 17 grandchildren to mourn her death.
The funeral was held from St. John Ev. German Church in this city, on Wednesday, the services being conducted by Rev. J. Bizer, and was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and sympathizing neighbors and friends.
