Mrs. Clarence Zier entertained her bridge club Monday night. High Scorers were
Mrs. Walter Lehnertz and Mrs. Zier. Lunch was served by the hostess.
Friends surprised Mrs. Joe Weber Tuesday night in observance of her birthday.
Cards were played and prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Pinter, Mrs. William
Jantsch, Mrs. Alvina Marlow, Mr. and Mrs. Art Ellenbecker and Lenhard Bischoff.
Mrs. Weber was presented with a gift.
Mrs. Larry Smith entertained a group of children Friday afternoon to celebrate the sixth birthday of the twins, John and Jerry. Two large decorated cakes were the feature of the afternoon lunch.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Herman and family, Appleton, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Herman and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Carlson.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schumacher and Mr. and Mrs. NOrman Underwood and family were
Sunday guests at the Norbert Schumacher home at Marathon.
