Mae Uerling, Route 2, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), has been awarded membership in
North Central Technical Institute's scholastic honor society. Miss Uerling is
majoring in merchandising at NCTI.
Membership in Sigma Alpha Lambda is based on scholastic achievement, leadership,
and service to the school and community. Membership is limited to less than
three percent of the school's total enrollment.
Thirty new members were installed at the honor society's sixth annual banquet in
Wausau Saturday, May 22, 1971. Eugene Lehrmann, Wisconsin Vocational Technical
and Adult Education Director, was the featured speaker. The student's parents
were guests at the banquet ceremony.
