CASHIER OF LOYAL BANK HELD FOR EMBEZZLEMENT
Loyal, Wis. - Roman M. Jenks, cashier of the Loyal State bank, closed Monday by the banking commissioner, is in jail at Neillsville in default of $5,000 bonds awaiting preliminary hearing on a charge of embezzlement preferred by his father-in-law, A. A. Graves, president of the bank. The affairs of the bank are said to be in a very bad condition and shortages found so far are reported to be in excess of $40,000.
