Parrett, Francis (? - APR 1911)
(Spencer Correspondent, Marshfield Times)
Thursday morning Spencer, Wis. was once more shocked to learn that death had again unexpectedly called an old and well known resident. That morning Francis H. Parrett was found dead in bed by his wife. He had returned from St. Mary’s Hospital only the day before and thought he was on the road to recovery. Heart failure was the cause of his death. Mr. Parrett was sixty-four years old and had been a prosperous farmer of Clark County for many years. He is survived by his wife and nine children, Mrs. Agnes Pickett of Spencer, Mrs. Nellie Schussman of Chicago, and Maud, Ida, Jennie, Raymond, Marion, Louis and Jean of Spencer. All were present for the funeral, besides a number of relatives from out of town. The funeral occurred at the home Saturday Afternoon, Rev. D.S. Householder officiating. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The sorrowing family has the sympathy of a host of friends.
