Pecher, Frank (26 MAY 1898 – 21 MAY 1971)

Frank Pecher, 72, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), died Friday morning at his home in Abbotsford.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, with interment in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Francis Rushman officiated. Pallbearers were all nephews: Ervin Boris, Anthony Zettler, Dennis Radke, Jerry Pecher, Arvin Apfelbeck and Duane Pecher.

The body lay in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. A general rosary was Sunday at 8:15 p.m.

Mr. Pecher was born in Chicago, Illinois, May 26, 1898, and was married June 12, 1923, to Viola Zettler, who preceded him in death July 9, 1956.

He then remarried September 9, 1961 to Germaine Kunz Radeztsky, who survives.

He received his education in the Athens school system. He was a carpenter by trade, and also farmed in the Athens and Colby areas. He lived in Abbotsford the past 14 years.

He was a member of St. Mary's Parish.

Surviving, besides his wife, are two children, Mrs. Sylvester (Germaine) Kulas, Abbotsford, and Carlton Pecher, Abbotsford, and the following step-children, Mrs. John (Alberta) Hennessey, Falls Church, Virginia; Delmar Radeztsky, Bloomington, Minnesota; Emil Radeztsky, Route 5, Marshfield; Ronald Radeztsky, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Fred (Joyce) Krueger, Colby.

Brothers and sisters surviving are George Peacher, Dorchester; William Pecher, Abbotsford; Mrs. Ernest (Bertha) Apfelbeck, Abbotsford; and Mrs. Albert (Anna) Apfelbeck, Colby. Preceding him in death were a sister and three brothers.
