A few months after her marriage she had to undergo a very serious operation from which she recovered quite will, as it appeared. But a little later it became evident that she was not so well as expected. Her health began to fail, that at times, she felt too weak to do her work. Sunday, December 29, when returning home from her uncle and aunt’s she suddenly collapsed, due to a weak heart. At first it looked as through she might recover but Tuesday towards evening her condition got worse being unconscious the most of the time from then till she departed New Year’s morning about 3:20.

She leaves to mourn her sudden departure her husband and daughter LaVerne. Her father, one brother, two sisters, Mrs. Henry De. Karske of Fredonia and Mrs. Richard Anding of Altoona, besides other distant relatives and a host of friends.

She reached the age of 45 years, 4 months and 1 day.
