Luck, Louise (19 April 1886 - 8 Jan. 1936)
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Subke Luck, whose death occurred Jan. 8 at her home on the northside, were held Sunday at 2 p.m., from the Lowe Funeral Home, Mrs. William Huntley reading the Christian Science services. Pallbearers were William Gehrt, Edward Gehrt, Harry Gehrt, Frank Luck, Richard Wedekind and Warren Hake. Mrs. Luck, who was born in Chicago April 19, 1886, was married to Mr. Luck Aug. 4, 1907 in Neillsville, Wis.
Mrs. Luck who was a member of the Christian Science church and the Royal Neighbors, was a woman of the highest ideals and character and particularly sympathetic to those in need or distress. She is survived by her husband, and four brothers, Fred Subke, Neillsville; Henry Subke, Eau Claire; Ernest Subke, Portland, Ore.; and William Subke, Los Angeles. Miss Hattie Winton, who attends the Neillsville schools, has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Luck for a number of years.
At the time of her death, her mother, Mrs. John Subke, was still living. She passed away Sunday, Jan. 12.
Those from out of the city who were here for Mrs. Luck’s funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Subke and family and Hans Nelson and mother.
