Sherman, Charles (4 April 1881 - 5 Feb. 1936)
Charles Sherman formerly of Neillsville, died at his home in Wausau early Wednesday morning Feb. 5th. Deceased was born in Neillsville April 4, 1881, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sherman, Sr. He grew to manhood here and was married *rest of the line is blurred*. The next year they moved to Wausau and made their home in that city ever since. He was employed in the Wausau Iron Works for many years, until it went out of business and he has since run a garage.
Mr. Sherman was an industrious man of good habits and was well thought of by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife and one son Donald, aged 13. He leaves also four brothers, Merrill, Edward and Alfred of Neillsville and William of North Hudson.
Funeral services were held at Schiller’s Funeral Home Friday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. Burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery.
