Turner, Preston O. (30 July 1894 - 28 March 1936)

Preston O. Turner, who was a boy and young man, will be well remembered here, died at Rockford, Ill., March 28, of pneumonia. Deceased was born in Neillsville July 30, 1894, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Turner.

In 1914 he went to Watertown, S. D., from there moving to Whitewater, then to North Dakota, later to Rockford, Ill., where he spent the rest of his life.

He was never married. Relatives left to mourn his death are his aged mother, who lives at Rockford, one sister, Mrs. Mamie Gergen of Rockford, and four brothers, Harry Turner, Rockford, Guy Turner, Neillsville, H. Leo Turner, Rockford, and Tony Turner of Watertown, S. D.

The body was brought here for burial, and the funeral is to be held at Schiller’s Funeral Home, Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. Paul White officiating.
