Burrows, Rev. W. P. (18 Dec. 1859 - 23 March 1936)

Word came to Neillsville friends last week that Rev. W. P. Burrows, a former Methodist pastor of Neillsville died at Deland, Florida, March 23, 1936.

Mr. Burrows was born at Ogdensburg, N. Y., Dec. 18, 1859. He was a member of the West Wisconsin conference of the M. E. Church for many years, and for six years was pastor in Neillsville, Wis.

Rev. Burrows was a man of noble qualities of mind, sincere of soul, kind of heart, but militant in his attitude toward evil and courageous and resourceful in fighting those things that obstructed the growth of good in the world. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, four sons; Vincent of Fresno, Calif., Ernest, Theodore and Walter, of Sheboygan; two daughters, Evelyn Kletzsek of Milwaukee, Alberta Doud of Waukegan, Ill., and four grandchildren, Don Burrows, Fresno; Warren and Philip Doud.
