Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Hankey were called to Nasonville, Wis., Aug. 31st, by the serious illness of Mrs. Hankey’s mother, Mrs. C.H. Reidel. The lady died on Monday night, Sept. 2nd, 1912. The Nasonville correspondent to the Marshfield Herald, contains the following obituary:

"A death that has cast a shadow of gloom in the community occurred on Monday night when Mrs. C.H. Reidel died at her home in Nasonville, after sustaining a stroke of paralysis on the Saturday preceding from which she never recovered. The deceased, 57 years old at the time of her death, was one of the pioneer women of Nasonville, where she reared a large family and won the love and respect of all who knew her. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Nasonville Presbyterian Church, Rev. Deceased is survived by her husband, two sons and four daughters, Albert Leonhardt and John Reidel of Nasonville, Mrs. William Voigt of Chili, Clark Co., Mrs. Ernest Hankey of Colby and the Misses Nora and Dora Reidel of Nasonville."
