Leffel, Dorothy (25 MAR 1892 - 26 MAR 1919)

Died, at her home in Harder, a village near Mosinee, Mrs. Dorothy Leffel, daughter of Henry Meyer, a former resident of Cherokee.

Deceased was born in Germany March 25, 1892 and when eight years of age came to this country with her parents who settled at Chilton. Shortly after, however, they purchased a farm at Cherokee where they lived until about a year ago when they moved to Marshfield.

In October, 1912 she was married to Henry Leffel to which union was born four children. Deceased had been ailing the past year and one day after her 27th birthday, death came to relieve her of her sufferings. She leaves to mourn her loss besides the four children, her husband, parents and many distant relatives.

The remains were shipped to Colby for burial last week Friday, funeral services being held Sunday, Rev. Grosshuesch officiating.
