Fuller, Ethel (6 MAR 1912)
Married, at the home of the bride’s uncle, Dr. Fuller, at Gardner, Ill., on Wednesday, March 6th, 1912, Dr. Gilbert J. Thomas and Miss Ethel Fuller of Chicago.
Dr. Thomas is a Colbyite by birth and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Thomas, who lived at Thomasville. Dr. Thomas is now located at Rochester, Minn., with the famous Mayo Bros., and is making a good record in his chosen profession. His bride is a trained nurse and the romance began at the time Dr. Thomas was an Intern at Mercy Hospital, Chicago, and Miss Fuller was in training. They will spend their honeymoon in the east, visiting New York, Washington and other points of interest before their return.
Mrs. Dan Thomas, mother of the groom, came from her home in Butte, Mont., to attend the wedding, and expects to visit in Colby next weeks. This is her first visit back to Wisconsin in eighteen year and she is enjoying the visit.
