Lukowicz, Mary (10 SEP 1912)
At nine o’clock at St. Mary’s Church, Tuesday morning, Sept. 10th, 1912, Rev. H.J. Artmann united in marriage Mr. Michael J. Eder of Stanley, N.D., and Miss Mary Lukowicz of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends. They were attended by Miss Ann Lukowicz, sister of the bride and Mr. Lester Cuzner of Racine, while Miss Lucy Lukowicz, also sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor.
Following the marriage ceremony at the church the newly wedded couple, attendants and invited guests partook of a sumptuous wedding breakfast at the home of the bride’s father, and spent the day and most of the night in merriment.
The bride is the daughter of August Lukowicz and has resided in Colby nearly twelve years, and is one of our best young ladies. The groom is well and favorably known, having grown to manhood here, but is now a prominent businessman in Stanley, N.D., where they will reside. Both are held in high esteem by all who know them, and the Phonograph joins in well wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
