Kjonik, Anna (SEP 1912)
(Withee Journal)
Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock occurred the marriage of Miss Anna Kjonik to Albert Wachsmuth, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Julia Kjonik of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis. The couple were attended by John Kjonik and Miss Eleonora Wachsmuth, brother of the bride and sister of the groom, respectively, and the ceremony was conducted by Rev. August Behrendt, pastor of St. Paul’s Church of Green Grove. Only immediate relatives and friends of the parties were present, but the affair was a very beautiful home wedding. The wedding dinner was served at six o’clock.
Mr. and Mrs. Wachsmuth will reside on the groom’s farm near Curtiss, Clark County, where he has a fine residence to receive his bride.
Among the relatives present special mention must be made of Mrs. Dorothy Schoenman, grandmother of the bride, who on the wedding day of her granddaughter, celebrated her eighty-first birthday, and was well and able to thoroughly enjoy the wedding festivities.
