UNITY BOYS MEET IN THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS
Somewhere in the Hawaiian Islands, Pfc. Robert Bronkhurst and S-2c Russel Meyer were riding a bus on liberty when Bob overheard one buddy say to another, 'Where are you from?' and when Bob heard ,'I'm from Unity, Wis' he jumped up and shouted, I'm from Unity, Wis..too," And sure enough Bob and Rus, two schoolmates together, met and it would have been interesting to have seen these two buddies grasp hands and shake. in a very short time, news to relatives at home was flying to them, of the incident. Yes, just such as these are taking place right along in war areas.
