An Abbotsford High School senior and a Colby High School senior have both been named recipients of the Security State Bank scholarships.

Diane Baumgartner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baumgartner, Colby, was the Coly High School senior chosen for the scholarship. Patricia Grambort, daughter of Mrs. Edwin Grambort, was the Abbotsford senior chosen at that school.

Both seniors will receive $400 scholarships, and will receive $100 each semester for their first two years of study.

Requirements for selection of the scholarship were that the students must been in the top 15 percent of their class and show a need for additional funds.

Miss Baumgartner is planning to attend school at Eau Claire, while Miss Grambort will attend WSU at Stevens Point.
