Ten young people were received into membership of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Unity this past Sunday, receiving the sacrament of baptism and confirmation.

Those who were received are Dennis Bloom, Patricia Carlson, Priscilla Cooper, Harry Edblom, Larry Fischer, Tami Johnson, Jamie Jost, Cathy Leonhard, Barbara Rogers and Bradley Runge.

The Unity church will also observes it 70th anniversary this coming Sunday at the worship service at 9:30 a.m. Smorgasbord will be served from 11 a.m. until all are served. Adult tickets are $1.75, children tickets under 12 years of age are $1.00, and preschoolers are free.

Theme for the anniversary was "70 years together with God." Ellen Hainzlsperger was the winner in picking the title of the theme and won a New English Bible.
