Selves, Margie (25 JUL 1892 - 27 APR 1913)

Little Margie, better known as "Baby Selves" passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Selves, in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Sunday evening, April 27th, 1913, following an illness of five weeks, aged 20 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Margie was born in Neillsville, Clark Co., July 25th, 1892 and when about five weeks old had a serious illness which left her an invalid the rest of her days. She had the tenderest kind of care from her parents and brother during her life, which endeared her in their hearts more, if possible, than if she had been a strong healthy child, and their many friends deeply sympathize with them in their sad affliction.

The funeral was held from the M.E. Church, Rev. Marsh officiating, Wednesday afternoon. Interment took place in Colby Cemetery.

Mrs. Henry Brown, Mrs. Aug. Snyder and Richard Selves of Neillsville, sisters and brother of Mr. Selves, and Mrs. H.A. Bright of Bright, sister of Mrs. Selves, were here to attend the funeral.
