Binning, Henrietta (6 JUL 1888 - 15 JUL 1913)

It is with sincere sorrow that we record the death of Henrietta, wife of Thomas Binning of Maple Grove, who departed this life on the morning of July 15, 1913, after a few hours illness. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lydikson, and was born in Unity Township, Clark Co., Wis., July 6th, 1888, and was united in marriage to Thomas Binning June 15th, 1910. She was a sincere Christian, having given her heart to Christ seven years ago when she was united with the M.E. Church, and was ever consistent in her daily life.

The funeral, which was one of the largest ever held in this community, was held from the M.E. Church in Unity, on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Marsh preaching a very touching sermon from the text 2 Corinthians, 5th chapter, 1st verse. The funeral arrangements were in charge of Lulloff Bros of Colby. The floral offerings were beautiful and profuse. The interment was in the Brighton Cemetery.

Henrietta was of a very kind and genial nature, which endeared her to a host of friends. She leaves a deeply mourning husband, one little son, father, mother, five brothers and one sister to mourn her loss. Her infant daughter, which never opened it eyes in this life, rests in the same casket with her.

There is a void where lived a loving wife, a faithful daughter, a genial friend.
