Moore, Bryan K. (9 December 1957 – 9 June 2019) With Flag

Bryan Moore, 61, Granton passed away in the early morning of June 9, 2019, at his home in Granton after battling lung cancer.

Bryan was born December 9, 1957, in Milwaukee and moved to Granton by way of Oklahoma in 2000. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and living off the land. In 1992, Bryan caught a 42-inch Northern Pike in Granton’s Pond and has since donated that fish to the village of Granton.

Bryan quit drinking December 9, 1987 and stayed sober until his death. “It was the best thing I ever did,” Bryan said. On November 16, 1989, he had a tree being cut-down fall on him, and he lived in pain the rest of his life.

He is survived by his brother Ronald (Gloria) Moore of Ferryville; sisters, Kathy (Randy) Schwarz of Springfield, OH and Darla (Jason) Robey of Clinton, WA; also, nephews and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, Irvin and Florence (Stiemke) Moore and his oldest brother, Michael Moore.

A Celebration of Life shall be held at the Granton Pond Park on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 5 p.m. followed by a potluck dinner.
