Fisse, Gustave A. (11 JUL 1893 – 05 JUN 1971)
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Maurina Funeral Home in
Dorchester for Gustave A. Fisse, 78, who died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning at
St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He had been a patient there since May 10.
Harvey Breneman, Viroqua, officiated at the services and burial was in
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ernest Neitzel, Ed Mildbrand, Rex
Penny, Fred Neuman, Albert Wagner and Marin Smoje.
Gustave Fisse was born in the Town of Mayville, Clark County, July 11, 1893. He
served in the U.S. Army in World War I. He farmed in the Town of Hoard on
Curtiss, Route 1. He never married. A sister-in-law and two nieces survive. He
was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
