A pretty wedding took place Wednesday, June 24th in the afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Loyal, when Miss Evelyn Stange, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Stange, Loyal, became the bride of Alvin Fravert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fravert, Greenwood, at a double ring ceremony performed by Rev. H. F. Leschensky. The altar was decorated with flower pots, and two arches, with crepe paper ribbons, tied to the seats for relatives.
The bride was attired in a gown of white velvet floor length and with a long tulle veil arranged in cap effect with a beaded effect and trimmed with orange blossom and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations, pink roses, snapdragons, baby breath and ferns.
Mrs. Clarence Stange, sister-in-law of the bride was maid of honor. She wore a yellow silk crepe dress, ankle length with a jacket. She wore a shoulder bouquet of ferns, sweet peas and snapdragons.
Miss Dorothy Fravert, as bridesmaid wore an orchid silk taffeta, ankle-length, and also wore a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas , ferns and snapdragons. Both maid of honor and bridesmaid wore headbands.
Clarence Stange and Lester Kenyon were the groom’s attendants, they all wore suits with a white carnation and ferns for buttoniers.
A reception at the bride’s home was held immediately after the ceremony where the room was decorated with white, yellow and orchid crepe paper ribbons with a large white bell at the center, and the bride and groom table was decorated with cut flowers and a large wedding cake.
Both the bride and groom are well known in this community, the bride graduated from the Loyal High School in the year 1934.

Very lovely gifts were received by the newly weds. They will make their home with the bride’s parents.
A dance was held at the Oakwood Pavillion after which a midnight lunch was served.
The tribune joins the many friends of the young couple in extending heartiest Congratulations.
