Orth, Lizzie (6 NOV 1912)
Miss Lizzie Orth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Orth of the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., and for the past two years clerk in Kraus & Kersten’s store in this city, was united in marriage at 7 o’clock Wednesday morning, Nov. 6th, 1912, at St. Mary’s Church, to Mr. Paul Tesmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tesmer of this city, Rev. H.J. Artmann officiating. The attendants were Miss Pauline Orth, sister of the bride, and Mr. Theodore Steinwand.
Immediately after the ceremony the couple partook of a wedding breakfast at the home of the bride’s parents, and then left by auto for Spencer, where they took the train for a St. Paul - Minneapolis trip, thus escaping the usual rice shower.
They will reside in this city and the Phonograph joins in hearty congratulations.
