On Wednesday, June 4, 1913, at the home of the bride’s parents, occurred the marriage of Miss Nora Wilbert of the town of Mayville, Clark Co., Wis., to Mr. Otto Stock of Colby. The ceremony was performed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Dorchester, Clark Co., Rev. F.H. Moecker officiating.
The bride wore a gown of cream white messaline satin and carried a bouquet of carnations and maiden hair fern, and the groom wore conventional black.
The bride was attended by the Misses Freda Wilbert and Ella Stock, and the groom by Ed Stock and Charles Wachsmuth.
After the marriage ceremony a bountiful wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents. The evening was spent in music and dancing.
In the evening the young couple were given a serenade by the Dorchester band.
The young couple received many beautiful and costly presents.
Mr. and Mrs. Stock will reside on their farm west of Abbotsford, Wis.
The many guests from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fetsch and daughter Edith from Arbor Vitae, Wis.; Mr. Chris Fetsch of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Scheunemann of Jackson; Miss Clara Scheunemann of Milwaukee; Mrs. Aug. Schultz and Elmer of Lannon; Miss Agnes Schultz of Waukesha; Mrs. E. Abel of Cedarburg; Mrs. Anna Wilbert and daughter Lillian of Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. H. Anschutz of Cedarburg.
