Apfelbeck, Matilda (17 JUN 1913)
Tuesday morning, June 17th, 1913, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Miss Matilda Apfelbeck was united in the holy bonds of wedlock to Mr. Norbert Schraufnagel, both prominent young residents of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., in the presence of relatives and friends, Rev. H.J. Artmann performing the ceremony.
The contracting pair were attended by Miss Alvina Schraufnagel, sister of the groom, and Mr. Peter Apfelbeck, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Apfelbeck, in the town of Hull, to immediate relatives.
The newly wedded pair left on the afternoon passenger for Glidden, to visit the groom’s brothers, and upon their return will reside on the Schraufnagel farm.
It is a pleasure to chronicle the marriage of such worthy young people and the Phonograph wafts to them its warmest congratulations.
