Meyers, Cora (30 DEC 1913)
Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Green Grove Lutheran Church, Rev. Aug. Behrendt, in the presence of a number of relatives and intimate friends, spoke the sacred words which bound together in holy wedlock, Cora, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers, and Otto Schulte. The bride was attired in white satin, and carried white roses. She was attended by Helen Schoelzel and Della Meyers, who wore light blue silk crepe and wore white roses. The groom was attended by Herbert Meyers and Ernest Schulte.
After the ceremony a bountiful supper was served at the home of the bride. The rooms and tables were elaborately decorated with decorations and wedding bells.
The groom is a highly respected and prosperous young farmer of Colby. The bride was born and reared in the community and counts acquaintances as friends, who all join in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
They left on the midnight limited for Chicago, Milwaukee and Sheboygan, and will be absent about three weeks.
They will live on Robert Schulte’s farm, near Colby.
