Brasier, Mr./Mrs. Gerald (Gold – 13 JAN 1975)
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brasier celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary January
5, 1975 in the All Purpose Room at St. Anthony's Catholic School in Loyal,
following a family dinner for 26 guests at the Star Lodge Motel. Many relatives,
friends, and neighbors attended the reception.
Mr. Brasier was born in Tomahawk, but live most of his life in Loyal (Clark Co.,
Wis.), attending Loyal Public School and graduating in 1921. He then attended
the University of Oregon for 1 1/2 years.
Mrs. Brasier was born in Neadeau, Michigan and received her education in Sagola,
Michigan. They met in Rhinelander, where both were employed in the veneer
factory, where they were married January 13, 1925.
The Brasiers have three children, Darwin, Loyal; Mrs. Melvin (Ardyth) Rossow of
Junction City, Oregon; Mrs. Jerome (Shirley) Brecht, DePere, and 15
grandchildren. Another son, Gerald, died while in service.
