"Working in Madison of the staff of the Assembly Chief Clerk of the Wisconsin
Legislature for two years, and the associations that I had there, have helped a
great deal beginning my new duties as Clerk of Court for Clark Count."
Those remarks were recently made by Steve Hemersbach, who began his duties in
the courthouse as Clerk of Court on January 6, 1975. A 1964 graduate of
Greenwood High School, Steve attended the University of Wisconsin, Kenosha prior
to his employment at the state capitol. He was elected to the county office this
past fall and won over the incumbent, Robert Schiller.
