Neumann, Clara (24 DEC 1888 – 20 JAN 1975)
Clara Neumann, 86, Spencer, died at 8:45 a.m. on January 20, 1975 at the
Colonial House of Colby.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Spencer, with burial in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The Rev. William Ruhbusch, pastor, officiated.
The former Clara Naatz was born December 24, 1888 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She
was married in May of 1907 to Frank W. Neumann, who preceded her in death on
July 6, 1951. They farmed in the Spencer area until 1928, when they moved to
Spencer.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, the Ladies Aid, and
was a former member of the Church Guild.
Clara Neumann is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Darrel (Francis) Gripentrog,
Mrs. Earl (Bertha) Cramer, and Mrs. Walter (Anna) Luepke, all of Spencer, and
Mrs. William (Erna) Beier of Milwaukee, 10 grandchildren and 41
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Emil Naatz, Denver,
Colorado, and one sister, Mrs. George (Linda) Oelrich, R. 1, Spencer.
In addition to her husband , She was preceded in death by one son, two sisters,
and one brother.
