Michael D. Ludwig,age 47,Granton,died on Friday,March 31, 2006 with his family in Granton. Michael was born on Jan.18,1959 in San Diego.Ca,to John D. and Helen (Lebiecki)Ludwig. He married Cheri L. Ludwig on Aug.29,1999 at Hilltop Tavern,in Granton.He was employed as a licensed cheesemaker at Mullins Cheese, Incorporated, Marshfield Division.

He is survived by his wife,Cheri,of Granton; his mother and stepfather Helen and James Jones,of Fox Lake;his children,Matthew S.(fiance-Jennifer Johnson)Ludwig of Granton;Leah M. Ludwig of Granton; a stepdaughter,Alyssa Kleifgen,of Granton;and sons,Dylon Byrl Ludwig and Tyler James Ludwig, both of Granton. He is also survived by a grandson,Jordan Ludwig.He is further survived by brothers, Gerold"Jerry"Ludwig,of Perrysburg,OH; Paul O.(Charleen)Ludwig,of Marshfield; a sister,Candy(Joe) Russell,of Wabash,IN,and a stepsister,Greda Jones,of Fox Lake.

He was predeceased by his father.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday,April 6,at 1p.m.at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton. Rev John Trewyn will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time. Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
